Job Placement Services
Our job placement services are tailored to the unique needs and aspirations of each individual. These services can include job research, resume writing, application process, interview preparation and planning, onboarding process, and employment retention skills. We provide guidance and support to help clients discover their career paths that lead them to success.

Job Coaching
Our job coaching service ensures that the individual understands the job requirements and provides guidance for them to be successful. The job coach meets up with the employer prior to employee training and observes the tasks that need to be performed. This helps guide the job coach in training the individual to have the best outcome.

Pre-Employment Transition Services
For individuals needing Pre Employment Services, we provide job exploration counseling, workplace readiness training, self advocacy skills instruction, work based learning, work experience services, and post secondary counseling. These skills will alleviate some of the pressure and better prepare the individual for what's to come in the employment process.

Other Services
We also provide other services including social coaching, independent living services, navigating public transportation, and drivers permit/license preparation.
What's next for employment services?

​First off, we are so glad you are interested in working with us. To make sure we are the right fit for you, I would highly recommend taking the time to meet with me virtually to ask all the questions you may have.

To receive services, an individual must qualify (have a documented disability and need support in gaining employment) with the State Department and have a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor. You and your counselor will come up with a plan and what services are necessary for you to meet your employment goals. If Sheila A Getz Consulting has the services necessary, your counselor will send a referral to Sheila A Getz Consulting and we will have an intake meeting. ​

At the intake meeting we will get to know you better by finding out your interests and goals. The team will put together a plan and we will move forward to meet your individual needs. ​

Typically, we will meet regularly to ensure we are moving forward with the plan. Meetings can take place virtually or in person and we will do our best to ensure the time and location are convenient for your needs.

If you choose to utilize our services privately, without involving a government agency, we offer personalized consultations to tailor our services to your unique needs. Please give us a call so we can set up a time to discuss how we can assist you.
