Work based Learning Consulting Services
Are you looking to enhance an existing work experience program?
Or are you starting one from the ground up?
With nearly 25 years as a Work Experience Coordinator in the public school system, I understand the challenges and incredible opportunities of guiding students through meaningful real-world work experiences. No matter where you are in the process, I’m here to support your team. I’ll work alongside your staff to equip them with the right tools, strategies, and guidance to develop or strengthen a program that aligns with student goals and prepares them for life beyond the classroom.

Staff mentorship
Provide new or existing staff with the knowledge, tools, and confidence they need to successfully manage and grow your work experience program.
Start up businesses
Support teachers in developing school-based start up businesses that give students hands-on experience in every aspect of running a business; from planning and production to marketing and sales. These in-house businesses help students build practical skills, understand real-world concepts, and help them to gain confidence.
Compliance, Forms, and Marketing Materials
Create professional paperwork in compliance with State regulations, data collection tools and marketing materials customized to your program's needs.
Staff and job coach trainings
Deliver targeted trainings to ensure staff fully understand the goals and structure of the work experience program and how it aligns with student needs. Provide job coaches with practical, role-specific guidance to help them confidently support students in real-world settings.
Jobsite development
Collaborate with school staff to develop in-house job opportunities that give students a safe space to build work readiness skills. Partner with local businesses to offer meaningful, real-world experiences at job sites. Build strong, sustainable relationships that benefit both students and employers while reinforcing workplace readiness skills in authentic environments.
Work skills lab development
Design and implement a student-centered Work Skills Lab (for those non-readers) where students can practice essential work readiness skills in a supportive, structured environment. From soft skills to basic hands-on tasks, the lab provides real-world scenarios that build confidence and prepare students for success in the workplace.
